ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admissions to B-Tech Programs are done through All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE. Admissions to M Tech Programs are based on GATE examination and the interview conducted by the PTU and College.
SEATS UNDER MANAGEMENT QUOTA:
As per the university guidelines, each institute can retain 33% of allotted seats to be filled up under the management quota. However, in order to encourage the admission of meritorious students , DAVIET has retained only 10 % in this category and balance seats have been surrendered to the university to be filled through CET and consequent central counseling by the university.
MANAGEMENT QUOTA ADMISSION FORMS.
Forms are available at the institute on the cash payment of Rs. 200/- and can also be downloaded from the website of the institute. The downloaded forms will be accepted with a demand draft of Rs.200/- in the favour of PRINCIPAL, DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jalandhar payable at Jalandhar.( without draft application form will not be considered.)

NRI/ NRI SPONSORED:
As per the university guidelines, each institute can retain 5% of allotted seats to be filled up under the NRI/ NRI Sponsored quota. Following the guidelines of university and state government NRI/ NRI Sponsored candidates will be addmitted to these 5% seats.

Forms are available at the institute on the cash payment of Rs. 200/- and can also be downloaded from the website of the institute. The downloaded forms will be accepted with a demand draft of Rs. 200/- in the favour of PRINCIPAL, DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jalandhar payable at Jalandhar.( without draft application form will not be considered.)
