The new global economic order, opening up of economies, the rapid rate of technological advancement, the information revolution, all have opened new series of challenges as well as opportunities for the modern man. The ability to innovate and the capacity to adapt to latest technologies are going to be the forte in the new century. With education increasingly becoming the primary determinant of overall development in the emerging knowledge economy DAVIET seeks to become the meeting point for students, teachers and all the other stakeholders. We at DAVIET firmly believe that education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, values and skills from one generation to another generation through quality institutions.
The prime aim of education is to participate in the evolutionary flow of life. We are opening up new Vistas of opportunities at DAVIET by contributing towards expansion and intensification of Technical Education With the aim of taking initiatives to realize the creation of a "flexible education and all encompassing research structure". DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology is engaged in carrying out original and cutting edge research of significance in the fields of Engineering and Technology.
The Institute celebrates freedom of thought, cultivates vision and encourages growth, but also inculcates human values and concern for the environment and the society. We combine a rigorous academic curriculum and teaching methods of highest standards with variety of enriching activities to promote leadership and personal growth in preparation for a fulfilling and meaningful adult life. We strongly believe in the alliance of parents and teachers for overall growth of the pupils. Our strong feedback system projects the same as we periodically send the progress reports to the homes of our students. Our teaching-learning process is based on motivating factors, discipline, although in relaxed natural ambience. We have created a secured, congenial and serene environment for both boys and girls students to make it their coveted educational destination.
Our goal is to produce “new age engineers” who will not only excel in engineering fields but will also have good managerial skills and the ability to communicate well in diverse situations. This fact is amply proved by the performance of our students in academics. We have won the highest number of merit positions in the entire University. The placements of the Institute are not in affected by Global economic slowdown and are as good as ever. We are equally good in the field of sports and cultural activities too. We have won the PTU Zonal and Inter Zonal Youth Festival for the record eight times in a row.
