Dastaan-E-DAVIET, an open-for-all literary and creative showcase, stands as one of the most cherished cultural traditions of the institute. On 29 October 2025, DAVIET students showcased their creativity and talent at GNA TechPragya, achieving remarkable success in the Rangoli and Poster Making competitions. Their vibrant designs, thoughtful themes, and artistic expression earned them top positions, bringing pride to the institute. This achievement highlights the dedication, skill, and innovative spirit of our students, as well as the strong guidance provided by our cultural and creative clubs. Their accomplishments continue to inspire the DAVIET community and reinforce the institute’s commitment to nurturing holistic development.
DAVIET proudly participated in the International Conference SSE ICRABR Cultural Evening held from 6 to 9 October, presenting power-packed Luddi and Bhangra performances that showcased the vibrant cultural heritage of Punjab. Our talented students captivated the audience with their energetic moves, rhythmic coordination, and electrifying stage presence. The performances not only highlighted the artistic excellence of DAVIET but also reflected the spirit, enthusiasm, and teamwork of our cultural clubs. The event served as a remarkable platform for students to represent the institute at an inter-institutional level and celebrate the rich traditional folk arts of the region.
The Student Induction Program 2025 witnessed a vibrant Cultural Showcase of Clubs from 29 August 2025 to 1 September 2025, celebrating the creativity, energy, and diversity of our student community. Over four dynamic days, various clubs of the institute presented engaging performances, interactive sessions, and artistic displays that introduced the incoming batch to the rich cultural fabric of DAVIET. The event served as a welcoming bridge for first-year students, helping them explore opportunities, understand club activities, and feel inspired to become active members of the campus community. The Talent Hunt – Adharva 2K25, held from 12 to 13 August 2025, served as an exciting platform for discovering the fresh talents of the incoming batch. The event featured a series of competitions conducted by various student clubs, allowing newcomers to showcase their skills in music, dance, poetry, art, technical innovation, and more. The energetic participation and enthusiastic performances highlighted the creativity and potential of the first-year students. Adharva 2K25 not only celebrated emerging talent but also helped clubs identify and encourage promising individuals who will contribute to the cultural and technical vibrancy of the institute in the coming year.
As part of the Student Induction Program 2025, a series of enriching Cultural Workshops by various student clubs was organized from 4 August to 8 August 2025. Throughout the week, each club conducted hands-on sessions, demonstrations, and interactive activities designed to introduce the new batch to the creative spirit of DAVIET. These workshops provided first-year students with opportunities to explore their interests, engage with senior mentors, and experience the artistic and technical diversity that each club brings to campus life.
