The Student Induction Program 2024 at DAVIET kicked off with inspiring leadership from L&T, aimed at preparing students for professional college life and introducing them to regional cultural heritage. The event featured Chief Guest Devdutt Sharma, Joint General Manager HR at L&T, and Guests of Honour Dr. Akash Talwariya and Sh. Arvind Ghai. It began with a hawan yajna to bless the new academic journey. Dr. Kanchan L. Singh, Head of Applied Sciences, welcomed attendees and emphasized the program’s role in facilitating the transition for new students. Principal Dr. Sanjeev Naval highlighted the importance of stepping beyond comfort zones and showcased DAVIET’s academic excellence and industry connections. Mr. Sarma shared insights on L&T’s achievements and the necessity of early preparation. He highlighted L&T’s Edutech program, emphasizing its role in equipping DAVIET students with cutting-edge skills and knowledge The event concluded with a mesmerizing Indian classical performance and a heartfelt vote of thanks from Sh. Arvind Ghai, celebrating the event’s success and the collaborative spirit.
