Punjab Technical University Basket Ball (Men) Championship
DAV Institute of Engg & Technology, lifted the Trophy in Men’s category by defeating SUSCET, Tangori with a final score of 55-31 in finals of three day long sports extravaganza. 42 teams of men from various Institutes participated actively in this PTU Inter College Basket Ball Tournament. Hon’ble Smt. Sarojini Gautam Sharda, Registrar, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar remained the chief guest on the valediction ceremony.
The University team of PTU was also selected on the basis of performance in the tournament and four students of DAVIET have been selected for the same viz Madhav, Gagandeep Singh Dhillon, Arshdeep Singh and Karanpreet Singh. Sh. C. L. Kochher congratulated the selected students of the institute.
