The Department of Mechanical Engineering at DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology had the privilege of hosting Mr. Jaideep Singh, an esteemed alumnus and Assistant Manager at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). During his visit, he interacted with students and shared his valuable insights, experiences, and career opportunities after completing a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Jaideep, who secured an impressive AIR 185 in GATE 2018, provided essential guidance on GATE preparation, highlighting its significance in shaping a successful career. He emphasized the importance of conceptual clarity, time management, and strategic planning for cracking competitive exams. His motivational session inspired students to strive for excellence and leverage opportunities in the public sector and higher studies.
The interactive session was highly beneficial, encouraging students to set ambitious goals and work diligently towards them. The institute extends its gratitude to Mr. Jaideep Singh for his invaluable contribution to students’ career development.
